Moss hand makes every baked good and sweet treat you’ll see in their space. From the brown butter chocolate chip cookies to the seasonal fruit galette, and the sandwich on focaccia to the chilled beet soup. 🫜

You may have seen them at the Farmer’s Market, but now you’ll have to see their storefront. You’ll see Katie and Cody working the counter, making the goods, and welcoming each person in.

This Friday, 7/17 at 5:30pm, Sammy and Jen are teaming up for Explicit Spin, a one-time-only pop-up in the Indoor Cycle Studio. One hour, two rides:

🚴 Rhythm Ride: out of the saddle, choreography synced to the beat
🚴 True-to-Terrain: power, cadence, and real road-feel intervals

The playlist is explicit, exactly as the artists intended, so this one`s for our adult members. All levels welcome, and it`s free as part of Free Fit Friday. Bring a friend to try the Club while they`re at it.

She set two world records for two lifts at age 71 on a national stage.

DAC member Lynn Jacobson competed at the USPA Ultra Powerlifting Championships in Anaheim, CA this May and came home with Master`s World Records in both the squat (150lbs) and the deadlift (220lbs) for her age and weight class.

Lynn has been lifting most of her adult life — for running, hiking, ranch work, and just living well. She started powerlifting 6-7 years ago when her daughter picked up the sport. She was cautious about squats at first (she had knee surgery decades ago), so she did the work: found good coaches, focused on form, and never stopped refining.

She also swims during the Masters Swim class (lovingly calling themselves the Nooners), teaches at Bushnell University, holds three Masters and a PhD, just finished a new certification, and lives on a ranch in Springfield. She turns 72 in August and is already planning her next competition.

Lynn`s message to other members? Start lifting and don`t stop. Any kind of weight training makes daily life easier, improves joint mobility, and builds bone density. And if you`re new to it, start with a trainer, because form matters.

But her message goes beyond the physical. Lynn believes deeply in lifting each other up, in every sense of the phrase. She wants to see women surround themselves with other women who encourage, challenge, and cheer for one another. Women who show up for each other the way the Nooners show up weekdays at noon. Strength, she`ll tell you, isn`t just something you build in your body, but it`s something you build together.
