Locker Room Etiquette Reminders

At the DAC, we strive to create a welcoming and respectful environment for everyone, and our locker rooms are no exception. Whether you’re a regular or new to the Club, here are some etiquette tips to keep these shared spaces comfortable and enjoyable for all.

1. Respect Shared Amenities

Our locker rooms are stocked with various amenities for your convenience. To keep things accessible for everyone, please avoid taking any equipment, toiletries, or other items out of the locker room. Let’s all work together to keep these resources available for everyone’s use.

2. Mindful of Scented Sprays

Before applying any scented sprays, like perfumes or body sprays, take a moment to consider others nearby. Some members may have sensitivities to strong fragrances, so a quick check can make a big difference in everyone’s comfort.

3. Towels Are for Drying Off, Not Removing Makeup

To keep our bath towels in good condition, please avoid using them to wipe off makeup, as certain products can permanently stain them. Instead, consider bringing a personal washcloth or makeup-removing wipes to keep the towels fresh for all.

4. Keep Cell Phones Outside

For privacy and respect, cell phone usage is prohibited within the locker rooms, saunas, and steam rooms. This policy is in place to ensure that all members can relax without the concern of cameras or interruptions.

5. Follow Sauna and Steam Room Policies

The sauna and steam rooms have specific rules to ensure safe and enjoyable use. Their specific rules are outside of their entrances for easy reference. Please review these policies and follow them for the benefit of everyone sharing these spaces.

6. Dispose of Trash and Towels Properly

After using ice bags or any other disposables, kindly throw them away in the provided bins. Once finished using a towel, kindly throw them in a hamper in the locker room, or near the Welcome Desk on your way out. By taking an extra moment to clean up, we help keep the locker rooms clean and comfortable for all members.

By following these guidelines, we can all contribute to a locker room environment that is respectful, clean, and welcoming to everyone. Thank you for being part of this effort to make the DAC a positive space for all!
