SATURDAY SESSIONS | 8am – 12pm | Warm Up + Cardio-Toning
Learn how to apply water-specific training principles and techniques in the warm up and cardio-toning segments of class. Prepare your students for success through teaching dynamic stability skills in the warmup. Discover the most effective exercises and formats for boosting cardio and fat burning systems into high gear.
SUNDAY SESSIONS | 8am – 12pm | Targeted Strengthening + Cool Downs
Learn effective exercises and progressive choreography for strengthening the upper body and challenging the core musculature using buoyant barbells and pool noodles in combination with flotation support. Discover how unilateral training enhances and improves functional fitness outcomes.
WHAT TO BRING:
Please come prepared. Each day consists of a wet session followed by a dry session. Participants are encouraged to bring a water bottle and snacks. The Downtown Athletic Club supplies towels and day use lockers for all guests.
