DAC Team Feature: Meet Levi Stoffal, Personal Trainer

About LEVI: I’ve been a personal trainer at the DAC for almost two years now and just recently stepped into the Training Manager role. I’m excited to play a bigger role at the DAC and I look forward to being able to help facilitate growth and a sense of community within the gym. In total I have been training for about fourteen years and absolutely love it.

I decided to get into training after I helped a friend lose over 100 lbs. for her wedding. Once I realized how much I enjoyed helping her, I decided to enroll in Umpqua Community College’s fitness certification program. After a year at UCC, I decided to further my studies, so I moved to Eugene and transferred to Lane Community College. There, I received an Associates of Applied Science degree in their Exercise Science program. Along with an AAS, I also received four other fitness related certificates as well as my NASM certification. During my schooling, I also interned at the University of Oregon where I helped organize the Run with The Duck event as well as Olympic Lifting competitions and Nike running clubs.

Since then, much of my training has focused on corrective exercise, functional movement, and rehab style workouts. Thankfully, my education prepared me for this by allowing me to intern at physical therapy offices and hospitals, as well as shadow various teachers and instructors in the medical field. Although I’m able to help anyone reach their fitness goals, my passion is helping seniors and those with inabilities and injuries.

I’m excited to be in my new role and continue to working with everyone in the DAC family.

Levi, we’re thrilled to have you on our team and helping to motivate members to feel their best!
